It’s normal. Everyone experiences this - even those annoyingly successful people over there. But the good news is: human beings are brilliant, resourceful and ingenious creatures, who are almost always fully capable of solving their own problems.
Sometimes, all it takes is a bit of guidance and space - and yes maybe a little shove in the right direction - to figure things out.
That’s where we come in.

"We must make our own lives. It is our own task, and we are masters of our own actions"
— Alfred Adler
What are we offering?
A focused, high-impact intervention to help you tackle one specific issue. Specifically, this consists of three sessions of 1:1 coaching with an experienced clinical psychologist, designed to help you:

-
Pinpoint the problem holding you back
-
Understand what’s causing and maintaining it
-
Identify the changes and actions needed to resolve it
-
Create a plan to make those changes happen
Each session is delivered remotely via Zoom over three consecutive weeks, with small, targeted tasks in between. There’s no follow-up, no extensions, and no hidden costs.

Just three powerful sessions to help you move forward.
How is this free?
We’re just getting started, and none of us have worked outside the NHS before. Charging people for our time still feels a bit unfamiliar to us, and we strongly believe everyone should have access to this kind of help, regardless of how much money they have.

So here’s our big idea: just start seeing people for free while we carry on developing this, and see what happens.
In return, all we ask is for some honest feedback, and to share this site with anyone you think might benefit from it. You’ll be helping us figure out how best to do this, and hopefully we’ll help you solve some problems along the way.

“A person's misery is never anyone else's doing”
— Epictetus
Who are we?
We are a small collective of NHS clinical psychologists who’ve got together in our free time to see if we can create something genuinely useful. Our goal is to offer practical, effective, super high-grade support to help people live better, richer, more meaningful lives.
Hence the name: the Good Lives Collective.
How do I apply to work with you?
It’s simple. Click on this link and send us a short message explaining who you are and what you’re struggling with. We’ll arrange a quick introductory Zoom call to see if we’re the right fit. If we believe we can help, we’ll send you some forms to fill out and set up your first session.
